At Blitzen Corp. (“Blitzen”), your right to privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose information collected through the Blitzen Platform and related services (“Services”) and the website located at www.blitzen.com (“Website”). By accessing the Services and/or the Website, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not access the Services or the Website. You may withdraw your consent to our processing of your information at any time, however withdrawing your consent may result in your inability to continue using the Services or the Website.

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time to reflect Blitzen’s internal needs, customer feedback, or changes in applicable privacy legislation. Blitzen will post all such changes on our Website, so please visit this page regularly. If you use the Services or the Website after we post an updated Privacy Policy, you consent to the updated Privacy Policy. The date that this Privacy Policy was last updated is located at the bottom of this document.

NOTE: The Services and Website are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information or non-personally-identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. We will close any accounts used exclusively by such children and will remove and/or delete any personal information we believe was submitted by or about any child under the age of 13.

Collecting information

We aim to collect, use and disclose only such information as is required to enable us to manage your account, to provide the Services, to maintain our customer/visitor lists, to respond to your inquiries or provide feedback, for identification and authentication purposes and for service improvement. We will maintain the confidentiality of any contact information you provide to us on signing up for our Services or contacting us with questions or for further information and we will use it only for the purposes for which we have collected it (subject to the exclusions and disclosures we have listed below), unless you agree that we may disclose it to other third parties

Two types of information may be collected through the Website and our Services: personal information and non-personal information. This Privacy Policy does not extend to the collection, use or disclosure of the following information which is currently not limited by applicable privacy laws: (a) information that is publicly available, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers and electronic address when listed in a directory or made available through directory assistance; or (b) non-personal information (as defined further below).

“Personal information” is information that can be used to identify you as an individual, including your name, income, personal opinion, interests, home contact information, identification numbers, user IDs, passwords, ethnic origin, and age.

As part of your registration for the Services

We will require your name, email address, address, telephone number and credit card information, and you will also be provided with a user ID and a password, or the ability to create a user ID and/or password. If you log in using any third party social platform provider such as LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook, we will also collect and use personal information associated with your account with such third party social platform provider pursuant to this Privacy Policy. The information we will have access to in respect of your account with such third party social platform provider will depend on the privacy policy of such third party provider as we as any applicable privacy preferences you have selected in respect of such account. We use this information to manage your account, perform billing and provide you with the Services

Account integration with third-party services

You have the option to integrate third-party services and create commands for data transfer and use between third-party services and your account with us. If you choose to authenticate any third party services, we will access and use the information associated with your accounts with such third party service providers pursuant to this Privacy Policy and any commands that you have selected.

Additional account information

You have the option to provide us with additional account information including your profile photo, job title, department and business data. We will use such information to provide you with the Services.

Comments posted by you through the Service

If you choose to post a comment using the Service, your name and the content of your post will be made available to other users within your organization.

Automatically through the Services and Website

The Services and Website contain features that may automatically collect information from users and viewers, such as usage statistics, and other tracking information such as your computer's IP address, operating system, browser name/version, the referring web page, requested page, date/time, and sometimes a "cookie" (which can be disabled using your browser preferences). We use such information in the aggregate to improve the Services and we may share anonymous aggregate information with third parties.

You contact Blitzen directly

Customers and business partners often contact us directly. When you contact any Blitzen employee by telephone, e-mail, in person, or through our Website and provide us with your personal information, we will use such personal information to help us deliver the information, products, or services you require

You opt-in to receive communications from Blitzen

If you opt-in to receive marketing communications from us, we will keep you up to date on our products and services. You may withdraw your consent to receiving marketing communications from us at any time by following the opt-out instructions in each communication.

Transactional notifications from Blitzen

We provide notifications for certain activities relating to your use of our Services despite your indicated e-mail preferences, for example we may send you notices of any updates to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.

Your information is obtained through a third party

Occasionally, Blitzen will obtain information about you from third parties, such as mailing list providers, third party service providers, ISPs, or third party application or account providers. Third-party providers are responsible for obtaining consent for the release of personal information to us from those individuals identified on mailing lists, surveys, or through other collection methods

Third party collection of your information

If you access any third party websites, please be aware that such third parties are not within Blitzen’s control or responsibility, and your use or access to those sites may result in third parties collecting information from you. Third party products or services provided through third party websites or applications are not owned or controlled by Blitzen, and are governed by the third party’s terms and conditions and/or privacy policy. You are encouraged to read the terms and other policies published by such third parties on their websites or otherwise.

Subject to any exceptions stated in this Privacy Policy, should Blitzen collect any of your personal information, we will follow these practices regarding the distribution of that information.

Your personal information is protected

Blitzen uses commercially reasonable precautions to protect your personal information and store it securely. Access to your personal information is restricted to those personnel who need it, and Blitzen takes commercially reasonable steps to prevent the unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information.

Blitzen only uses and discloses your personal information if it helps us facilitate your needs, improve our products and services, meet legal and regulatory requirements, or — to the limited extent possible — manage our internal business operations. Additionally, if there are any disclosure or use restrictions in your consent to the collection of your personal information, Blitzen will abide by those restrictions (subject to the consent exceptions listed below).

For example, your credit card information will only be used to bill you for the services that your have authorized or used. The account information provided as part of your registration for Blitzen’s services will only be used to provide you with the services.

Blitzen may combine your information with other information into an aggregate form, so your information no longer personally identifies you. We may then disclose the aggregate information to third parties, so they can obtain an overall picture of Blitzen’s products, services, customer usage patterns and/or other statistical information.

Maintaining your personal information

Blitzen has established the following practices regarding the maintenance of your personal information.

You can request access to your personal information at any time

If, for any reason, you wish to review your personal information that Blitzen has in its possession, you can contact our Privacy Officer, who will be pleased to provide you with all your personal information that Blitzen has on file subject to any legal restrictions that apply.

You can update your personal information at any time

Sometimes, it will be necessary for you to update your personal information Blitzen has on file. For example, if you move or change credit cards, you must update your information in order to keep receiving the Services provided by Blitzen.

If you wish to make any changes or corrections to your personal information, please do so by updating your account information. This will help us ensure our records are always up-to-date.

You can request that your personal information be destroyed at any time

A situation may arise where you desire to have all of your personal information that is contained in Blitzen’s records deleted or destroyed. If this is what you wish, please contact our Privacy Officer, who will take care of removing your personal information from all of Blitzen’s records. However, there may be situations where we are obligated to retain one archival copy of your information to allow us to comply with laws or respond to legal processes. We will inform you of all such situations, and will only use your retained personal information to the limited extent necessary to comply with such laws or respond to legal processes.

Your content is destroyed after your user agreement expires or is terminated

As described above, you may provide materials to Blitzen in the course of your use of Blitzen’s products or services, including text, information, data, images (still and moving), trade-marks, and logos, and any portion thereof, and/or and all data and information generated by your use of the products and/or services. In your discretion, you may have decided to include personal information in such materials.

Blitzen’s standard practice is, after six (6) months of any termination or expiration of your agreement with Blitzen for products or services, to destroy all such materials unless, during such six (6) month period: (a) you reactivate your account (including by executing the then-current version of the relevant user agreement) and/or (b) you and Blitzen specifically agree in writing to handle this material in an alternative manner.

It is your responsibility to make alternative arrangements with Blitzen if you do not wish for personal information included in such materials to be handled in this manner, and Blitzen will have no liability whatsoever relating to the destruction of any personal information contained in such materials if you fail to do so.

This privacy policy supplements any agreements you already have with Blitzen, such as your User Agreement or website terms and conditions. Our privacy policy does not replace the terms of those agreements. By agreeing to those terms and using Blitzen’s website, products, software and services, you are consenting to the collection and use of your personal information by Blitzen in accordance with this privacy policy.
