Using Blitzen, Encounters Travel is building a list of newsletter subscribers which they organize by geographic region. The visitor is asked to provide their location the moment they reach the website. The information is then passed on when they sign up for the newsletter.
Knowing the subscriber’s location allows Encounter’s Travel to tailor newsletter content to the individual. Subscribers are going to be sent travel deals with flights and currency of their country instead of seeing a general list which may not be as relevant to them. The personalization makes it far more likely that clients will engage with the emails which is great for business.
We like using Blitzen for various reasons including the friendly service we have had so far getting our account set up, the great prices and of course the data we are getting. As an international tour operator getting clients from all over the world, this is a fantastic and time effective way for us to segregate the data so we can then deliver more relevant content to our valued clients.
